Salt Air was essentially created years ago when Nino Mancari was just a teen working in Jonathan Spivak’s Sedona kitchen. The two would spend many nights after service talking about authentic Delaware beach food and all the phenomenal dishes it represents. Luckily the pair bumped into each other 15 years later and decided to make their concept a reality. Highwater Management Company joined the pair and with Matthew Haley, Scott Kamerera, and Bryony Zeigler’s help this “Delaware Beach Picnic” is Rehoboth’s newest success.
Salt Air uses local produce and fresh fish to create simple, unique, and innovative dishes. The continually evolving seasonal menu and daily specials allow customers a new tasting experience with each visit. Even the crisp, clean atmosphere is beach reminiscent, with a beach towel clothesline and Spivak and Zeigler’s original artwork adorning the walls. To top it off, extremely affordable prices make the restaurant a must for any diner.
A list of delicious wines and cocktails await the customer, as well as a daily happy hour and inventive kids menu. There is also a private dining room available for private parties and special events.
